Overdue items

Overdue library material

Wintec Library does not charge standard overdue fines. However, items will be considered 'lost' once they are more than ten days overdue for standard loans, or a shorter period for shorter loans

To avoid recovery action, renew or return your library material on time.

Using the library: If you have any overdue items, you cannot borrow material from the Library until you have renewed or returned the items.

Fine to pay?

Library fines are in place for recalled items. If you do not return a recalled item, by its new due date, the fine is $3 a day and will continue to accumulate until you return the item.

8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

NB You will need to take the invoice to the Cashier, and then bring the receipt to the Library to have the debt cleared.

Using the Library: If you have fines of $10 or more you cannot borrow material from the Library until you have paid the fine in full.

If your fine is under $10, we ask that you pay this online.

Lost items

Lost a book?

Go online and buy a replacement copy in good condition. If you do not know here to look, the Library Team can make recommendations. These include

If the edition you have lost is out of print, get the newest edition.

Refunds

Found the book you have paid for?  You have 3 months from the date you paid for the item to claim a refund.

Items paid for will include a non-refundable $10.00 administration fee.

Using the library: If you have any lost items, you cannot borrow material from the Library until you have returned/replaced the book, or paid the debt.
