The Library: Printing, Copying & Scanning @ Wintec

An introduction to the Libraries at Wintec.

Printing, copying, & scanning at Wintec

Printing, Copying & Scanning @ Wintec

Both the City and Rotokauri Hubs have multi-function devices (MFDs), and there are MFDs in each Library. In the tabs on the left you can learn how to print, copy, and scan.

If you need any help with the MFDs, head to the ITS Student Help Desk, and look for the peer tutors in the yellow Wintec shirts.

Topping up your Wintec ID card for printing

This Cash Top Up Machine will be unavailable from Wednesday 3 July 2019. Print balances can be credited online via MyLearning or onlinetopup.wintec.ac.nz

Topping up your Wintec ID card for printing

You can top-up your Wintec id card with print & copy credits online using the wintec online topup website.

Enter: Onlinetopup.wintec.ac.nz

You can top-up on any device as long as it can connect to the internet using a Debit or Credit card. The minimum amount is $2.

Remember, black and white printing and copying is only 8c a page. Think about how much you need to top up your card.

If the online top-up system and the machines in the HUBs are not working go to the Cashiers at both libraries and pay by eftpos. The Cashiers are open between 8.30am - 4pm.

  3. Hold your card over the electronic fob on the machine until it recognises your card.
  4. A list of print jobs should appear.
  5. Select the job(s) that you would like to print.
  6. Hit START, and your printing job should begin.
  7. If you would like to staple your document, you need to do this when you send the job to the printer from your Wintec computer. Talk to someone at the ITS Student Help Desk to find out how.

* If you do not have your ID card, you can login to your account at the MFD.
