What can I borrow & how long can I have it?

3-day loan books - 3 days

Books, CDs, DVDs, Journals, 3-day loans, & Course Reserve items 50 items maximum

CDs & DVDs: Limit of 5

Journals/Magazines: Limit of 10

Course Reserve: Limit of 2 at any one time, exceptions apply

Tutor Texts: New Tutor Texts are no longer supplied by the Library. Returned Tutor Texts will be added back into the Library collection and cannot be transferred between tutors. Existing Tutor Texts must be renewed in November of each year at the Library

Would you like to have your book or other item for longer? You may be able to renew up to 3 times online. Find out more here!
Recall an item
Would you like a particular book or item, but it's out? You can recall it from another student so they return it sooner OR another student may recall a book that you have. Find out more here!
Distance Students
Do you live more than 40 kms from our Hamilton campuses and are required to be on campus less than once a fortnight? You may be eligible for our distance services!

Course Reserve: Limit of 1 during the day and 2 overnight, exceptions apply

Would you like to have your Wintec Library item for longer? You may be able to renew it online!
Recall an item
