Kate Faldo

Kia ora koutou.

My name is Kate Faldo. I am the Liaison Librarian for the Centre for Business and Enterprise, the Centre for Information Technology and Design Factory NZ. In this role, I teach you how to find resources, help with referencing, and improve your information literacy skills. I also come into your classes to support you when you have assignments. You can email me for one-on-one help.

My qualifications include a Master's in Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor in Anthropology and Pacific Archaeology. My work experience has been mainly in libraries, art galleries, museums and universities. I am a small business owner with an interest in marketing, social media, and design.

I enjoy teaching students how to improve their research skills and information literacy. I am here to help you on your learning journey here at Wintec.

The library offers a variety of places to study, from interactive group areas to quiet spaces. Staff can help you with your search skills, accessing library databases, and APA referencing.
