Nursing / Pae Nēhi: Health Image Databases

Health image databases allow you to search for specific images for studying and which are safe to use in assignments.

SMART Imagebase

The SMART Imagebase is a repository of accurate, high quality medical illustrations, animations, and interactive multimedia. It has 1,000s of proprietary, copyrighted images and reference illustrations of anatomy, physiology, embryology, histology, surgery, trauma, pathology, diseases and conditions.

Note: Students and faculty may use the resources for educational, non-commercial projects but must become familiar with the use restrictions and how to attribute material. More information can be found under the FAQ and License agreement sections of the database website or on the library Policies/Terms of use page.

Gale 3D Human Anatomy

Gale Anatomy has modules that allow you to "zoom, rotate, and explore interactive 3D models". It includes body systems (e.g. respiratory, skeletal, circulatory, or digestive), or study different regions of the body and reference material.

ClinicalKey

ClinicalKey Student is a database providing access to leading medical and nursing content. It has ebooks, video resources, images and powerful study tools to help you study smarter.

Please note you will need to register to access this resource. Make sure you are logged into your Wintec account when you do this.
