The Library: Borrowing information - Other borrowers

An introduction to the Libraries at Wintec.

Reciprocal Borrowers

Reciprocal Borrowing

What can I borrow & how long can I have it?

Wintec Library has reciprocal arrangements with the University of Waikato Library and the Waikato DHB Library. Borrowing is limited to print books. You can find more information in the Wintec Library Reciprocal Arrangement. Link to document is found below.

     3-day loan books - 3 days

10 items maximum

Reciprocal borrowers may NOT recall books, but anything you borrow can be recalled from you at any time. A recall means that another borrower has requested the book. The Library will email you if this happens, and let you know the new due date. Failure to return the book by this new due date will incur fines at the recall rate.

A Subscribed Borrower could be a member of the public who wishes to be able to borrow print resources from the Library for their research. The Library Manager must be contacted for permission. There is a fee of $100 payable for a 12 month membership.
