How do I reference sources that are not available to the public?
Some works, like classroom resources, are only able to be accessed by a certain audience (they are not available to the general public). This may take the form of course material (lecture notes on Moodle, for example) or a document published internally by an organisation (like a company policy).
For referencing your classroom resources click on the button below.
If the resource you want to cite is a document from an organisation's intranet (it has been published on a local computer network and is only available to the employees of that company/organisation), you will need to cite it as personal communication. This is because there is no way for your reader to access the information.
