APA 7th Edition Referencing Guide1

A Wintec Library guide to referencing in APA 7th edition style

Referencing an eBook

The example below shows how to reference an eBook and indicates the elements required to create an accurate reference list entry for this source.

Author, A. (Date). Title of eBook: Subtitle in italic sentence case. Name of Publisher. DOI or URL as required.

Fox, W. (2006). A theory of general ethics: Human relationships, nature, and the built environment. MIT Press.

Note
The above is an example of an eBook accessed via an online database and, as such, does not require a DOI, URL, or inclusion of the name of the database. Instead, it is referenced essentially as a print book. See Referencing eBooks from online databases.
