Google Scholar
Google Scholar is an academic search engine run by Google. It works just like ordinary Google but returns academic articles and information you can use in your assignments. Plus, you can link it to the Wintec Library databases and use it to search for information there.
What's the difference between Google and Google Scholar?
While Google allows you to search the whole internet, Google Scholar is dedicated to finding academic information online. You can use it to find peer-reviewed journal articles, research papers, published studies, scholarly books, and other non peer-reviewed material.
Pros & Cons: Library databases vs. Google Scholar
